Reply:Merrick
Reply:I wouldn't use Ocean or Oceanus, if the mermaids name is Oceana, it would REALLY confuse the reader to have names so similar. I like Merrick.
I also like the names Keo (kay-oh), and Oberon (was the King of the Fairies in A Midsummer Nights Dream)
Reply:Merrick, So how's the story coming along?
Reply:I think it would proly be something like ummm....
Lithius
Martho
wozzel
hmmmm I ran out of names but good luck though
Reply:Oceanus!
Reply:I actually rather like Ocean. If you take it out of it's context of meaning a body of water - it's a neat name.
Reply:How about "My mother couldn't pick a name so she just called me boy"?
I don't mean any offense when I say: Just pick a frickin' name and write your mermaid story already!
If you can't even pick names on your own, how are you going to come up with the story itself?
