In Final Fantasy 3 can you change your characters name?

I know you can change your characters name at the very beginning but if you change it at the beginning can you ever change it back.

If you're talking about Final Fantasy 6. Which I think/hope you are. The game that involves Espers, Magicite, Kefka and a wide array of cool characters, great story, and overall just an awesome game





Yes there is a way to change your characters name. Go to the Colliseum and bet an Elixir, fight a Cactrot, win, and you'll recieve a rename card.





If however you're talking about the original Final Fantasy 3 that was only introduced in Japan years ago and not in the US.





Then no... THere is no way to change your characters name that I know of.

But I kept the original names, I thought they were good ones.
