Name the one player off the radar you think will have a monster season in fantasy baseball?

Everyone else has picked players who are most deffinantly ON the radar =P

If I had to pick a SINGLE player that's off radar to have a great fantasy baseball year, it'd be Nick Swisher or J.J. Hardy

Seriously if he stays healthy, Moises Alou. He batted like .360 last year.

Reply:david wright
Reply:Jose Reyes... He's Young, Fasttttttt, %26amp; When He's Get's On Base The Mets Score.
Reply:Ryan "The Riot" Theriot
Reply:cant wait to see fukudome... especially since i pronounce his name as a curse word =)
Reply:Jimmy.....

Jim Edmonds
Reply:you could always go with alex gordon of the royals. he was hyped up last year but then played badly. maybe a lot gave up on him to soon. at least he has a lot of upside and potential and now more experience.

also, i know hes not under the radar but atkins played great over the last few months. he started last seson awful, which kept his numbrs from being better. he might go low enough to be a good steal.
Reply:A-Rod
Reply:Curtis Granderson from the tigers
Reply:derek jeeter, he's hottttt
Reply:regine mc andrson
Reply:I suspect B.J. Ryan of having a legitimate return closing games for the Blue Jays in 2008. Remember, he was a top5 closer but 2 years ago, prior to the year of injury.

Obviously I suspect our MLB scouting of Japanese athletes is becoming more accurate, and Kosuke Fukudome %26amp; Hiroki Kuroda should both have eye-opening years.
Reply:i think a player that has been off the radar b/c of injury and will have a good year is scott rolen. after the trade to the jays i think he might regain his 2004 form and light it up.

GO JAYS
Reply:Here is a suprise to all, young pitcher from the Detroit Tigers, Justin Verlander. This guy pictched a no-hitter in inly his second season. Plus, Verlander is the ace of the stafff, meaning that at the end of the season, he will have the most starts on the team, making it much more likely for him to increase his stats. #35 for the Tigers had a great record last year,18-6, an era of 3.66 and 183 strikeouts. These numbers are especially good, since the American League is such a powerful offensive division.

So watch out for #35 Justin Verlander, Pitcher of the Detroit Tigers to have a huge year in 2008.
Reply:kennedy from the yanks.
