Fantasy name ideas please...?

Well, I'm writing a fantasy novel and i need an idea for the name of a weapon in the book... Unfortunatley it has to start witht the letter 'T'... it is currently called 'Tzar' (Pronounced: Z-ah) and iv'e sort of grown out of it... any help or ideas would be great

Thanx ^_^

Fantasy name ideas please...?
Try not to use too many words with weird spellings. Especially when the word could easily be something else, like with tzar, which is what the ruler of Russia used to be called before the Romonovs were executed a long time ago. And try not to use unpronounceable names, either, they annoy the hell out of people. I tell you this from experience.

For your weapon. Taligro. Tougren. Tegra. I'm making these up, by the way, that's why they're weird. Tyhro. Tragwen. Trebine. (Before this, I haven't realized just how few vowels there are) But there you go. Hope this somehow helped. Feel free to twist these suggestions around to improve them to your liking.

Reply:Good rule of thumb, when making up things, don't spell things like they aren't pronounced. Tzar, a slavic tyrant, as my puzzle put it the other morning. Pronounced Tzar.

Reply:Try the following

Telenos

Tigros

Tanthalas

Hope I helped you. Good luck with the book
Reply:You will definitely come up with some weird words if you do this my way, but it might help. Write some letters of the alphabet on little pieces of paper. One letter per piece (or as the case may be, part of whatever word you are trying to make) and mix them up. Draw them out of a hat (or box or fishbowl--whatever you want) and then line them up. See what you come up with. You can rearrange them too. I have a friend who came up with a fantasy character's name this way and it's a neat name. (No, I won't tell you what it is.)
Reply:Tygre (pronounced tee gray)
Reply:when i need a name for something on whatever i'm writing, i tend to look for familiar things to start with. such as people i know, shows i have seen, the things around me or recent events in my life. i will try to create by mixing and matching the names and see if i can come out ultimately with something i like.

i also keep a notebook whereby i jot down any ideas, phrases, interesting wordings or names that i come across or had just to mind. it will serve as an excellent source for reference.

why dun u give it a try. it is more fulfilling that way and u can proudly call it your own.

GOOD LUCK!!!!
