Reply:"Mattingly's Doom", or something to do with Mattingly. Yankee fans love Mattingly, and whenever I say anything about him in my league, you'd think I was insulting their mother or religion.
The Yanks won the World Series the year before Mattingly started, then did not win in his entire playing career. The year after he retired, they won 4 of 6, or something like that. Then he came back as a coach, and they haven't won since.
